Information You Send
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the outside provider that operates the results service. Harrison Residents Directory does not retain a copy of those search entries on its own servers. If you contact us, we receive the information in your message and use it to respond.
Automatically Collected Data
Like most hosted pages, this service records standard server-log details, including an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and times of access. We use aggregated information to maintain the service and understand use of its Harrison record-reference pages. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where used.
How Limited Data Is Used
We use this information to operate and repair the service, measure aggregate traffic, and improve the reference pages. We do not sell lists of visitors or create individual visitor profiles.
External Websites
Links may lead to Harrison, Westchester County, New York State, library, archive, and outside search services. The privacy practices of the destination, rather than this policy, apply once information is submitted there. Sponsored results are also supplied by an outside provider.
People and Services With Access
Hosting and support providers process server logs for the service. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatically collected information described above. Information is disclosed when required by valid legal process and otherwise only as described here.
Data Safeguards
The reference uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the operational purposes stated above. No account system is offered here, so the site does not keep a visitor password or account profile.
Visitors Under 18
This reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from people under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor has provided information, and it will be removed.
Your Information Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information a website keeps. Because this reference retains little information, we can check the contact mailbox and available server logs when a request is received. Use the Contact page. New York's Personal Privacy Protection Law, Public Officers Law Article 6-A, governs certain State-agency records but is not a blanket rule for local Harrison, court, or Legislature records. Requests involving public records held by a New York custodian must go to that custodian.
Policy Updates
Any revision will appear here. Continued use after a revised policy is posted indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
